As we wind down the week here are some final thoughts:
These guys changed world history. Heroes. Can you imagine what the world might be if they didn’t step off those boats, or overhead by parachute, for us, into machine gun fire on June 6, 1944?

Everyone should travel. The world is too small not to. Life is too short to pass it up. Experience travel.

International food is always intriguing.

The French were very nice throughout our trip.

We are appreciative to have learned and seen where our father‘s family ancestors (English) came from. Find your ancestry. Walk in the footsteps of those before you.

Normandy is a must visit for anyone intrigued by WWII.

Home will always be home. Looking forward to many things back home.

Lastly, I’ve enjoyed the week with Raymond. I appreciated the time with him and look forward to his upcoming experiences.
I have a strong appreciation for what he will experience in the armed forces, and look forward to updates on the process.
These next 11 months will go fast. As has 21 years. I have great confidence in Ray and enjoyed watching him all week interact with others. Thank you Raymond For the son/father trip! 👍🏻👍🏻
